About The Position

This is a full-time Machine Operator position on the 2nd shift, working from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The role involves operating and maintaining machinery, performing quality control, and contributing to general plant upkeep. The list of duties is not exhaustive and may be expanded as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a good work ethic.
• Must have a history of an excellent attendance record.
• Must be able to read, write legibly, and speak English.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to communicate and work well with others.
• Must be self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of all facets of each production line.

Responsibilities

• Change over equipment for various sizes of containers to be run.
• Keep weight sheets and other recordkeeping as required by production and/or quality control.
• Clean up machines and work area after the production run.
• Perform quality control duties as required.
• Make minor adjustments to machinery as needed.
• Relieve other operators during breaks as needed and have knowledge of all facets of each production line.
• Perform housekeeping projects such as paint, mop, dust, polish stainless steel and general cleaning in the plant as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Assistant Plant Manager.
