Machine Operator
About The Position
Fiserv is your single source provider for plastic manufacturing, personalization, fulfillment, and packaging services. We ensure the highest printing quality, exceptional service, timely delivery, and capacity to meet the needs of any size issuer, from small runs to quantities in the millions. As a Machine Operator at Fiserv, you'll be trained how to set up and operate machines such as embossing/card personalizers, printers, affixers, inserters and mail sorters. Also, you will adjust the machines to ensure work accuracy while responding to equipment error messages. You will perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced, ensure the batch is accurate per the order ticket, and set up the equipment.
Requirements
- Experience using a computer for data entry
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities
- Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
- 1 year of fast-paced production environment
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of production machines in the manufacturing process of credit/debit cards
- Adapt and multitask as production volume changes without advanced notice
- Conduct quality checks to verify that the production materials are accurate according to the job order
- Cross train to learn the operation of other production equipment
