About The Position

The Machine Operator (1st Shift) will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role involves studying sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine the methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products. The operator will need to read, understand, and use blueprints, drawings, and models to machine precision parts, as well as utilize tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers effectively. Additionally, the role requires calculating dimensions or tolerances and measuring, examining, or testing completed units to ensure conformance to specifications.

  • Ability to read, understand, and use a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer effectively.
  • Ability to calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometer, or vernier calipers.
  • Ability to measure, examine, or test completed unit to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometer.
