About The Position
Hoffmaster Group, Inc. is hiring full-time Machine Operators to support our production team in Clintonville, WI. This role offers paid training, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environment. The position operates on a night shift with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, providing every other weekend off and 14 workdays per month. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered, distributed over the first year of employment. Training may initially occur on the day shift before transitioning to nights.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or printing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Forklift experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment.
- Load raw materials, rolls, plates, inks, and other production supplies.
- Configure machines to meet product specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs.
- Perform quality inspections and verify labels, UPC codes, and packaging accuracy.
- Make routine machine adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Safely clear jams, paper breaks, and other machine interruptions using lockout/tagout procedures.
- Complete basic equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Report mechanical issues and equipment concerns to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
- Assist with training new team members as needed.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP, SQF, and food safety requirements.
