About The Position
Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their production team. In this role, the operator will be responsible for operating label machines efficiently, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring every product meets high-quality standards. The role requires a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys owning the technology they work with.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to two years related experience and/or training.
- Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
- Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate label machines to meet daily deadlines with a "zero-defect" mindset.
- Use mechanical aptitude to diagnose malfunctions and find root-cause solutions.
- Monitor close tolerances and use the ERP system to log materials and time accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, always prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your teammates.
