About The Position

This role will be on 2nd Shift, 2PM-10:30PM M-F. The hourly rate for this position is $17.79 - $23.72 / hour. Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver who takes pride in quality and precision? In this role, you will own the operation of our label manufacturing equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet customer demand.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or mechanical equipment setup.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a drive to understand equipment operation.
Ability to distinguish colors, read fine measurements, and perform visual quality checks at close range (20 inches or less).
Comfortable standing most of the shift, reaching, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Operate & Maintain: Set up, calibrate, and run label machines according to daily job schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain and handle dies carefully to ensure continuous line performance.
Troubleshoot & Improve: Monitor equipment for accuracy and quality. Identify root causes of malfunctions and partner with supervisors to resolve production issues.
Inventory & Systems: Log raw materials accurately in the ERP system using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods to minimize waste and track quality control.
Safety & Workplace: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Strictly follow all plant safety rules, policies, and required PPE guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Assist with distribution tasks and support team members across shifts when needed.
