This is a temporary position for a Machine Operator responsible for running an extrusion machine. The role involves feeding pellets into the hopper, removing plastic strips, visually inspecting them, and measuring them. Specific tasks include cleaning and blowing off excess material from tubing ends, and creating holes and notches in the ends of bungees. The operator will also be responsible for recording quantities and measurements every 30 minutes, notifying the supervisor of any issues, and packing boxes for shipment. The ability to operate two machines simultaneously and maintain a steady pace is required. Basic hand tool usage for attaching boards to pallets is also necessary. The job requires standing and bending throughout the shift. Training will be provided, so prior experience is not necessary.
