Machine Operator - Wire Draw -2nd Shift
About The Position
We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: (Shifts hours are from 5 pm -5 am) Identify different wire sizes using a micrometer Stop/Start line when needed using the control panel. Butt weld rod at payoff. Removes finished wire stands off of dead block when completed. Measure the diameter and determine whether the material meets the specification. Adds lubricant when needed. Keep the area in good housekeeping condition. Performs changeovers Understands correct die lineups per gauge Operates equipment at target speeds. Troubleshoots quality issues as they occur. Demonstrates good EHS practice.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.
- Must be able and willing to work 5 PM-5 AM MON-SAT.

- Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.
- Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.
