About The Position

TAG Hardware is looking for a Manufacturing Machine Operator / Technician to join their growing production team. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or machine operating experience who enjoys hands-on work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is looking to continue building their technical skills. Reporting to the Manufacturing & Plant Manager, you'll operate a variety of manufacturing equipment while learning more advanced machine setup, troubleshooting, and production processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools/equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Basic math and reading skills (work orders, labels, procedures)
• A dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor a variety of manufacturing equipment.
• Operate cutting saws, grinders, profile wrappers, slitting equipment, and other production machinery.
• Perform machine adjustments and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Follow daily production schedules and standard operating procedures
• Inspect, package, and move finished goods
• Maintain quality standards and escalate issues as needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe (5S)
• Support inventory counts and material flow across production
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team success
