About The Position

Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for a Machine Operator - Spray in Hollis, NH. In this position, the Machine Operator will directly support quality and on-time shipment goals by performing variable and attribute inspection of products applying customer specification drawing requirements and UltraSource quality procedures as the basis for determining acceptance or rejection. This is a full-time, second shift position. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Good visual acuity (lens correction as required).
  • Able to perform inspections under microscope.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy.
  • Ability to multitask is a required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.
  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a in a cleanroom manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for start-up and shutdown for all equipment within cell.
  • Responsible for the set-up, cleaning, operation, and troubleshooting of the machine.
  • Operate machine and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Properly load and unload substrates in the machine.
  • Inspect substrates 100% for proper quality and quantity prior to and after coating before moving on to next operation.
  • Responsible for handling chemicals, chemical changeover and disposal of chemicals.
  • Process work using a variety of different work instructions and processes.
  • Maintain work area organization and cleanliness.
  • Perform visual microscope inspection for 2-3 hours per day.
  • Identify out of spec product and place product on hold.
  • Document production activities in the ERP system as well as various databases.
