Independently read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical data to determine tooling requirements and setup procedures. Perform stripping and coating operations while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Operate, monitor, and maintain specialized equipment used in chemical stripping and thermal spray processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or minimum three (3) years related experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with standardized processes.
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working with mechanical equipment, chemicals, and in loud environments.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and preset all tools for stripping and coating operations and perform safety checks.
  • Load and unload parts into chemical tanks and monitor stripping processes.
  • Mask parts internally and externally using designated methods.
  • Verify setup meets quality specifications including sizes, depths, and tolerances.
  • Install, align, and secure tooling and parts on equipment.
  • Operate machinery, input control data, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor operations, detect malfunctions, and adjust controls.
  • Inspect and measure parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Record production and operational data.
  • Handle hazardous materials and waste in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance.
  • Support safety policies, teamwork, and communication expectations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity standards.
