This role involves using pneumatic and hand tools to assemble products according to company and customer specifications. The operator must understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product, and be able to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process. This includes organizing the assembly process, performing inspections with total quality concepts, conducting preventive maintenance on equipment, accurately reporting daily activities and production data, performing quality checks with basic measurement equipment, keeping work areas clean and safe, exercising safe working habits, interacting with technical support for downtime activities, and possessing a high level of attention to detail. The role also requires active contribution to the continuous improvement of the safety culture, participation in safety training, and prompt reporting of safety concerns. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator are also part of the role.
