Requirements

Ability to sort items along with good organizational skills
Good hand/eye coordination
Demonstrated proficiency in at least three positions.
Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules and production tickets.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions; communicate with coworkers and management clearly and respectfully; and work in an ever-changing, fast-paced team environment.
Basic ability to read and write English
Must be at least 18 years of age
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi-task, and work both independently and as a part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Push cart of panels to machine/follow Zone integrity.
Remove panel from stack and position with flange under sewing machine foot.
Check ticket for sizing and measure panel
Activate machine and sew flange to panel and overcast edge in one operation around perimeter of panel.
Insert and sew in legal label and production ticket on every other panel. Mark ID on tickets
As required: add thread, roll of flange material, replace needles, oil machine, fix thread breaks and aside scrap.
Observe stitching to detect defects and repair accordingly and check panel before and after sewing for flaws in materials and stitching
Notify production supervisor when defects are caused by machine malfunction.
