About The Position
Sumitomo is looking for a Coating Operator to join our growing team. The Coating Operator will operate and set up one or more PVD coating machines to perform machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts. With technical guidance, keep coating department machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Must follow company standards that are currently in place. Communicate any production problems with team lead and/or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude (follow work instructions, use basic hand tools)
- Learn the operation of the coating equipment
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up one or more PVD coating machines to perform machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts.
