About The Position

The Machine Operator Flexographic Printing position is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging. This role requires a good work history and the ability to work either first or second shift, Monday through Friday. The operator will be responsible for ensuring the machinery is supplied with necessary materials, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Experience in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery or similar processes.
Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
Good verbal and written skills required.
Basic Math required.
Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Nice To Haves

Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.

Responsibilities

Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
Inspect product to ensure materials, size, print, and quantities meet standards.
Keep the work area clean.
