About The Position

Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, including the use of PPE, and involves working in a fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery noise. Ongoing training is required.

Requirements

• Good work history required.
• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery or similar processes.
• Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic Math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
• Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
• Inspect product to ensure materials, size, print, quantities.
• Keep the work area clean.
