About The Position
FAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP has an immediate opening for two full-time Machine Operators - Press on the 1st shift. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills within a supportive team environment. The company is a family-owned business established in 1952, specializing in ferrite technology and serving diverse markets including Medical, Lighting, Automotive, Communication, Aero/Defense, Smart Energy, and Industrial. Fair-Rite has locations in New York, Illinois, and China.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED) and Technical school training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Must have good math skills
- Ability read a micrometer, dial guage and Calipers
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift, push, pull up to 35 lbs.
- Good communications skills and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to press parts to the shape and size dictated by the Work Order.
- Monitor production of parts to ensure dimensions are meeting required specification guidelines, by using pre-control charts.
- Check for quality of products, while keeping presses running efficiently.
