Machine Operator - Plating I - 1st Shift

About The Position

This position operates department-specific wet process equipment, including plating, automatic plate lines, deposition, strip, etch, reflow, and ASF. The role follows production instructions and safety regulations, supports preventative maintenance, and performs tasks to meet production deadlines. The position may require overtime to cover alternate shifts and weekends, cross-training in other departments, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Motivated self-starter who can work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to read and follow short sheets and customer documents.
Participate in Chemical Awareness and Chemical Handling certifications.
Pass a respirator physical.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable.
Must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15, and 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20), meaning U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer experience, including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Two or more years of PCB experience.
Prior plating experience.

Responsibilities

Follow short sheets, standard operating procedures, and company safety regulations.
Assist with department-specific preventative maintenance schedules.
Time and execute multiple tasks and instructions to meet production deadlines.
Participate in continuous improvement activities as needed.
Maintain a positive work environment through effective interactions and communication with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management.
Cross-train in other departments as required.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
