Machine Operator – Paver Plant Open Shift Availability Required $28.00-$30.00 Per Hour – DOE POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Paver/Block Superintendent, this position supports the Paver Plant in all areas of production; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Requirements

Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
3-5 years experience preferred
On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
Regular attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

Production line experience preferred.
Ability to operate cuber, forklift, and any other equipment required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

Operates Tiger/Paver machine and verifies that equipment is running properly and safely.
Checks product quality and discards sub-standard product.
Completes all paperwork and inspections as required by company standards.
Keeps work area clean and free of hazards.
Inspects that pallets of concrete products are stacked neatly onto pallets.
Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on the dry line equipment.
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Predictable and Regular in-person attendance is required.
