Machine Operator – Mail Inserter

Machine Operator – Mail Inserter Position is Onsite in Plano, Texas Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm Pay is $17.50-$19 per hour – based on experience The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a mailroom, post office, transactional print, or fulfillment environment. Knowledge of commercial print-insert or direct mailer business is highly preferred. Warehouse knowledge and inventory management also a plus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Able to stand for most of the shift
- Overtime as business requires
- Basic computer skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a mailroom, post office, transactional print, or fulfillment environment.
- Knowledge of commercial print-insert or direct mailer business is highly preferred.
- Warehouse knowledge and inventory management also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate High Speed Automated Inserters to process customer mail files.
- Load materials onto the machine, adjust settings and troubleshoot issues as required
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while operating the machine
- Complete each job according to client requirements and mail presort specifications.
- Communicate with internal teams for task coordination and knowledge sharing.
- Move pallets with manual pallet jack
- Ensure quality of output and review for errors
