About The Position

Works as a member of the Axle Production department to assist in the operation of machinery in the axle Production Area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Must pass the Hendrickson Machining Test
• Ability to learn and physically rotate to all required job stations and job tasks in assigned work area with-in the rotation timetable that has been or will be established for that area.
• Ability to use all Personal Protective Equipment that is issued by Hendrickson.
• Mathematical skill a must.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Ability to work in a continuously improving environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a diverse production environment.
• Team Skills a must
• Ability to pay close attention to minor details resulting in the production of a superior quality product.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer prior CNC Machine operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Operating all of the non-MIG welding machinery in the axle area.
• Ability to perform quality checks using calibrated digital micrometers, Veneer Calipers, and go/no go gauges to ensure product is within tolerance.
• Proper paperwork/reports are to be completed to document build per work order specifications.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
