Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience with forklift
  • Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments and ability to read customer drawings.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet quality and production targets.
  • Set up machines using work orders, samples, specification books, and verbal/written instructions.
  • Utilize hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets) and measuring tools (tape measure, scales) to ensure accurate operations.
  • Load, monitor, and unload in-process work, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain product quality standards by pulling and inspecting samples during production.
  • Document production metrics using production logs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Operator Live Logs.
  • Identify and report defective materials, unusual conditions, or equipment issues to supervision.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
