About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator IV to join our production team. This advanced-level position is responsible for the safe operation of complex production machinery to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality production runs. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience operating machinery in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to qualified individuals. The Machine Operator IV role requires the ability to operate, set up, and adjust equipment while maintaining product quality and meeting production goals. Responsibilities include performing routine machine maintenance, changing blades, cleaning and taking down equipment, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments to optimize machine performance. Successful candidates must be knowledgeable in product specifications, safety procedures, and production standards. Experience with lockout/tagout procedures or the ability to become certified is required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Previous advanced-level machine operation experience; specialized equipment training is strongly preferred.
  • Lockout/Tagout certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to optimize machinery for maximum quality, output, and line efficiency.
  • Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • 1–2 years of experience operating machinery in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and enter data in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized equipment training is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate sophisticated production machinery to maintain efficient and continuous production.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade changes, machine setup, cleaning, and tear-down.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of product specifications, equipment capabilities, and profitability goals to adjust machinery for optimal product quality, yield, and line speed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely production records such as net weight sheets, label verification sheets, run-time logs, and man-hour documentation.
  • Maintain certification in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures and follow all safety protocols.
  • Read, comprehend, and enter data in English with strong attention to detail.
  • Direct workflow and collaborate with team members as needed to meet production targets and improve efficiency.
