Machine Operator II
About The Position
All America Threaded Products has several opportunities available for a skilled Machine Operator II! This position is eligible for our full benefits package, including health, dental, life, and 401(k). This is a Full-Time, on-site position at our facility in Lancaster, PA. This is an opportunity for a mechanically inclined operator to develop specialized skills in steel-processing equipment and advance based on demonstrated capability. Candidates must be available to complete training on the Monday-Thursday training shift and transition to the rotating production schedule upon qualification. Our Machine Operator II position is our mid-level machine operator position. Machine Operator IIs are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our threading machines and straight cut machines.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience working with industrial machinery.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Proficient using gauges, tape measures, and other basic hand tools.
- Familiarity with and willingness to adhere to warehouse and manufacturing safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position.
- Willingness to spend most of the day on your feet.
- Good attitude and punctuality.
Responsibilities
- Adherence with our safety regulations.
- Documenting quality issues, reporting deviations.
- Material handling, loading, and unloading of machines.
- Basic maintenance including adjusting, lubrication, and set-up.
- Performing quality checks on finished products.
- Setting and operating industrial machines.
