About The Position

This position requires the skills to operate and maintain various types of equipment including material handling and coffee flavoring. The employees in these positions must be able to exercise independent judgment and decisions on mechanical and quality aspects of the machinery and/or product. Assignment will include use of computer programs for data entries, machinery operations, and quality of the products.
Operates retail and/or SSB lines.
Operates multiple packing or a combination of packing and processing lines.
Performs adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing formers and sealing jaw knives, setting guides, temperature controls, nitrogen/ oxygen fill ratios, and other machine-related functions.
Inspects and records all quality checks in computer base and aligns machine packaging output to comply with quality specifications on an order-by-order basis.
Ensures all aspects of quality standards are met by performing all necessary quality checks.
Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshooting, make minor mechanical adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on the packaging line as needed.
Ensure work order schedules, coffee blending matrix, and coffee transports are followed correctly and to company protocol.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 – 2 years of machine operator experience required.
• Knowledge of tools, machines, safety precautions in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
• Ability to calculate/ perform mathematical functions for data entries on required process monitors, quality specifications, and work order capacities.
