Requirements

  • One or more years' of related experience in a production environment and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
  • Intermediate mechanical skills required.
  • Basic math and logic skills required.
  • Basic computer skills and software use experience required.
  • Clear and effective communication skills via email, telephone, and video conferencing.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate from college or technical school specific to Machine Operation a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operates multiple machines and/or processes in the department, efficiently, maintaining production KPIs.
  • Maintains all required documentation of work; notifies quality when inspections are required and reports any scrap parts/pieces.
  • Notifies manager of any identified issues/errors on processes and/or tools and machines that require repair and/or replacement; notifies quality when inspections are required and reports any scrap parts if applicable; and identifies any issues or errors and notifies supervisor or manager of situation.
  • Maintains a clean and clutter-free work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure departmental goals are met.
