About The Position

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Machine Operator II to set up, calibrate, and operate machinery used in production. The role supports accurate and efficient manufacturing operations and helps maintain high production standards. The position is based onsite in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico when employment begins; relocation is not offered. The role requires accurately seeing, reading, and interpreting information on screens and materials for extended periods. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer vision examination. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens may access information under the program or contract. No security clearance is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Must reside in Puerto Rico when starting employment; relocation is not offered.
Must successfully complete a post-offer vision examination and be able to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Set up and operate a production machine according to established procedures and guidelines.
Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
May perform calculations and assist with numeric-controlled programming.
