The Machine Operator II will work collaboratively with other operators, and manufacturing leadership to efficiently run manufacturing lines in accordance with Stryker procedures. They will directly assist front line manufacturing leadership with lot closures and openings, assigning inventory and performing in-process quality checks. Operate multiple simple to advanced manufacturing equipment with limited supervision, including machines. Carry out 40% Production Associate responsibilities and 60% Machine and Equipment Operator responsibilities. Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment, maintain accurate production records, and address maintenance requests. Troubleshoot basic quality concerns with products or equipment and read part prints/blueprints to meet production goals. Train others on recognizing and identifying cosmetic defects, and report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors. Be responsible for quality and adherence to manufacturing process requirements, building products by following certified processes. Independently comply with production signals on the manufacturing floor, record information on shop floor paperwork, and maintain accurate records. Handle, transport, store, and inspect components and final assembly devices, set up and operate manufacturing equipment, and adjust machinery within the scope of machine operator curricula. Adjusting clamp performance, cleaning water system, preparing materials for use, monitoring production floor for slowdowns and shutdowns, coordinating within team to respond to technical challenges.
