About The Position

The position involves safely and effectively operating one step equipment, including Nissei and related machinery, to meet production requirements. The incumbent ensures the production of high-quality products in accordance with customer specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and one-step or injection machinery preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply SAP system, FMS, RealSPC, and Customer Profiles.
  • Proficient in operating and troubleshooting relevant equipment.
  • Completion of 8-week training programs for Nissei and Husky, demonstrating proficiency.
  • High attention to detail and production flow.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shift schedule with flexibility for business needs.
  • Capability to provide toolbox and basic tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and one-step or injection machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure machines run smoothly and produce quality products.
  • Operate Nissei and related machines efficiently.
  • Perform and document quality checks every hour.
  • Identify defects and adjust to maintain quality standards.
  • Address and communicate equipment problems promptly.
  • Report issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel accurately.
  • Maintain cycle times and machine setup sheets.
  • Ensure machines operate within required parameters.
  • Maintain process, maintenance, and machine reference logs.
  • Enter daily production numbers into SAP and process tickets.
  • Record quality metrics into RealSPC.
  • Utilize the Levels Program for skill enhancement.
  • Cross-train on all Nissei machines and related equipment.
  • Document daily activities and equipment downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records for operational continuity.
  • Produce boxes as per production needs.
  • Ensure boxes meet quality and production requirements.
  • Supervise packers and ensure quality checks during packaging.
  • Maintain packaging standards and efficiency.
  • Move materials using walk behinds and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance activities.
  • Support maintenance team to ensure machine reliability.
  • Relay important information to the next shift and relevant personnel.
  • Facilitate seamless shift transitions and operational updates.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Follow GMP, 5S, company safety standards.
  • Understand and utilize Lock Out Tag Out.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Be adaptable and responsive to operational needs.
