About The Position
Primary focus is to build quality products by following processes to meet all production goals. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience
Nice To Haves
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Previous medical device manufacturing experience
- SAP & MES systems experience
Responsibilities
- Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws.
- May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines.
- Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
- Some machines may be numerically controlled.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Train co-workers and new hires on certified processes.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
