About The Position
California Screw Products is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in aerospace/manufacturing who already has basic inspection and measuring-tool experience.
Requirements
- Experience using micrometers and calipers is required.
- Ability to accurately read measurements and perform basic dimensional inspections.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Aerospace, machining, fastener, metalworking, or manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings.
- Experience working with production equipment or manufacturing inspection tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety requirements.
- Load and unload parts and materials from assigned machines.
- Perform basic inspections of manufactured parts.
- Use micrometers and calipers to accurately measure parts and verify dimensions.
- Identify and report parts that are outside specification.
- Read and follow basic work instructions, routers, and production documentation.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Keep the assigned work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Meet established production and quality expectations.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
