About The Position

The Machine Operator I is responsible for setting up and adjusting equipment to meet sizing specifications, sorting and moving door stacks through a conveyor. This role also involves performing basic repairs, routing, tracking, preventative maintenance, and station keeping. The operator will utilize hand tools, read and follow sizing instructions, and perform quality checks. Collaboration and communication with team members are essential, as is adherence to safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE. Day-to-day direction is provided by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting, standing, and sitting throughout the day.
• Work with products up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year experience in manufacturing setting or similar role.
• Be team and safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools such as mallets, tape measure, and calipers.
• Read and follow sizing instructions and quality check with tape measure.

• Work safely, wear PPE, and follow safety procedures.
