About The Position

As a Machine Operator I, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality architectural products by safely operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to develop new skills and grow your manufacturing career. Architectural Metals manufactures premium aluminum windows, storefronts, curtain wall, and entrance systems used in commercial buildings across the United States and Canada.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Comfortable using hand tools, including wrenches, hammers, and levels
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production machinery and equipment
  • Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments
  • Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
  • Use measuring tools to verify product quality and accuracy
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
  • Identify and report equipment or quality issues
  • Follow all safety procedures and support production goals
  • Cross-train in multiple work areas and equipment
