Machine Operator I (Nights/Luna)
About The Position
Vertiv is hiring a Machine Operator I at its Ironton, Ohio facility to perform painting and manual machine operation. The role involves operating manufacturing equipment, taking precise measurements, performing quality checks, and maintaining and configuring machinery to ensure products meet specifications. The position is scheduled for nights, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., on a WIN pattern: four days on, three days off, three days on, and four days off, totaling seven workdays in each 14-day period. The work environment is climate-controlled and uses modern, state-of-the-art equipment. The role offers hands-on technical work and opportunities to learn multiple machine operations, develop maintenance skills, and advance manufacturing expertise.

Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including fin press and fin power systems, precision brakes, vertical and horizontal expanders, overhead cranes, hairpin machinery, paint systems, and welding equipment.
- Make precise measurements and calculations.
- Perform quality checks using specialized gauges and other measuring equipment.
- Maintain and configure machinery.
- Ensure product quality meets exact specifications.
