About The Position

ECHO Incorporated is seeking a Machine Operator to join its team manufacturing professional-grade outdoor power equipment. The role operates and monitors a donut winding machine, changes trimmer line spools, packages and labels finished products, performs routine quality checks, and supports daily production goals. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., and pays $16.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be capable of maneuvering and frequently lifting 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Be able to often stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Have experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently and effectively as a team member, assisting the shift lead and other employees in a positive and proactive manner.
• Be committed to accuracy and following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the donut winding machine to ensure it is processing correctly.
• Change trimmer line spools as needed, unwind remaining trimmer line, and discard it in the scrap barrel.
• Fill clamshells from the gaylord, working from top to bottom.
• Package and label each donut.
• Perform routine quality checks and monitor equipment performance.
• Weigh trimmer line scrap and communicate the amount to the lead.
• Communicate shift issues to the lead.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other departments in meeting organizational goals.
