About The Position

Aligning with Jetseal’s core values, our Machine Operators represent the foundation of our commitment to reliably produce products to the highest quality and engineering standards. We are currently seeking talented individuals for both our Machine Operator I and Machine Operator II tiers. Candidates will be evaluated and placed based on their experience level, technical skill set, and operational mastery.

Requirements

  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic to moderate math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Fine hand motor manipulation and coordination.
  • Ability to effectively use hand and foot controls.
  • Must have vision (natural or corrected) of 20/30 or better.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US. (Any individual granted U.S. citizenship, permanent residence (Green Card holder), or status as a "protected person.")
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must meet pre-employment background screening, including US Export Control Regulations (ITAR).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards.
  • 9 months of direct Machine Operator I experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned machines (roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices) following strict work instructions.
  • Inspect processed material within specified tolerances.
  • Use hand tools and calipers to accurately measure product dimensions.
  • Track and systematically log job operations.
  • Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking.
  • Set up production machines independently for various job runs.
  • Assist and support Machine Operator I team members with machine setups.
  • Identify, install, and adjust proper tool sets and guides to achieve desired output results.
  • Utilize calipers and specialized measuring tools to secure acceptable margins.
  • Perform calculations down to the thousandth decimal place.
  • Provide technical advice on tool adjustments using learned judgment.
  • Troubleshoot, provide, or seek solutions for production issues and follow up to resolution.
  • Train and coach new hires on safety, work practices, and role responsibilities.
