The Machine Operator/Fabricator operates manufacturing equipment and fabricates metal components used in HVAC systems. Requirements

Experience in a hands-on environment operating machinery or production equipment.
Ability to safely set up, operate, and adjust production machinery.
Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to verify product quality.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of shop safety practices.
Dependability, strong attendance, and a strong work ethic.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience with welding, fabrication, and metal joining processes, including GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, seam welding, or spot welding.

Responsibilities

Assemble metal components using cutting, forming, and joining processes.
Set up and operate production equipment, including shears, presses, and related machinery.
Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed.
Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Work collaboratively to meet production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.
