Machine Operator - Converting/Slitter

About The Position

Operates converting equipment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating multiple converting machinery including a Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, and Sheeter. The operator will troubleshoot machinery, make adjustments, and ensure orders are produced to schedule and specification. Additionally, the role involves preparing goods for shipping, labeling finished products, performing quality control checks, and maintaining good housekeeping. The position requires the ability to read a tape measure, a sense of urgency, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Related tasks may be requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills

• Manufacturing experience is helpful
