Converting Machine Operator - 1st Shift

About The Position

We're hiring a Converting Operator to join our production team! In this role, you'll run and monitor machines, keep production moving, and help ensure our products meet quality and safety standards. This is a first shift position, working from 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED Required.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Prior experience with coating, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices.
Perform general set-up of machines.
Prepare materials for the production process.
Load and unload material from the machine.
Assist in monitoring the operation of the machine.
Track and label finished products manually and electronically.
Communicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues.
Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams.
Check products throughout the shift to make sure they meet company quality standards.
Follow all safety and EHS policies to keep yourself and your team safe on the job.
