About The Position

Greenwood Mills, a family-owned company with over 135 years of business, is seeking a Machine Operator (Cloth Examiner) for the 3rd shift. This role is crucial as the last line of defense to ensure fabric quality before shipment. The successful candidate will inspect rolls of cloth, identify defects, and maintain a clean and organized workstation. This position requires the ability to work a full 8-hour shift, follow instructions, and be willing to learn. Some weeks may involve a 6-day work schedule, with the monthly work schedule posted at the beginning of each month.

Responsibilities

• Check rolls of cloth for defects.
• Identify and catch defects before the product is shipped out.
• Maintain and keep your own station clean.
