About The Position

Southeastern Container, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of PET beverage bottles and preforms, supplying the Coca-Cola bottling system. With over 35 years of stability, quality, and growth, we are seeking talented individuals for a 12-hour night shift position. This role is responsible for operating blowmolding equipment and related machinery to ensure the production of high-quality bottles.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable working in warehouse conditions
Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
Able to follow safety rules and procedures

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
OSHA forklift certification (employer will provide training if not certified)
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience
Familiarity with RF scanners or basic computer systems
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

Responsibilities

Start, stop, and run blowmolding machines according to safety and operational procedures.
Monitor preform feed for continuous operation and verify correct product and preform usage as per production schedules.
Ensure date coding equipment is functioning properly and applying correct information.
Monitor production for adherence to quality specifications and report potential problems to the Team Leader.
Account for and process machine scrap as directed.
Perform visual and technical tests on bottles to verify conformity to quality specifications and report any out-of-specification product immediately.
Work with the Team Leader to isolate any production identified as out of specification.
Monitor support equipment (conveyors, labelers) and report malfunctions to the Maintenance Team.
Ensure automated defect detection or quality test equipment is operating correctly and perform calibration tests as directed.
Attend training classes as requested.
Maintain a clean working environment and follow all safety guidelines and policies, reporting any unsafe conditions.
Complete required reports as directed by the Team Leader.
Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader.
Comply with all activities related to product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality.
