About The Position

Southeastern Container, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of PET beverage bottles and preforms, supplying the Coca-Cola bottling system. With over 35 years of stability, quality, and growth, we are seeking talented individuals for a 12-hour night shift position. This role is responsible for operating blowmolding equipment and related machinery to ensure the production of high-quality bottles.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Comfortable working in warehouse conditions
  • Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
  • Able to follow safety rules and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • OSHA forklift certification (employer will provide training if not certified)
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience
  • Familiarity with RF scanners or basic computer systems
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Start, stop, and run blowmolding machines according to safety and operational procedures.
  • Monitor preform feed for continuous operation and verify correct product and preform usage as per production schedules.
  • Ensure date coding equipment is functioning properly and applying correct information.
  • Monitor production for adherence to quality specifications and report potential problems to the Team Leader.
  • Account for and process machine scrap as directed.
  • Perform visual and technical tests on bottles to verify conformity to quality specifications and report any out-of-specification product immediately.
  • Work with the Team Leader to isolate any production identified as out of specification.
  • Monitor support equipment (conveyors, labelers) and report malfunctions to the Maintenance Team.
  • Ensure automated defect detection or quality test equipment is operating correctly and perform calibration tests as directed.
  • Attend training classes as requested.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and follow all safety guidelines and policies, reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Complete required reports as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader.
  • Comply with all activities related to product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality.
