Machine Operator Assistant
About The Position
This is an hourly full-time position working Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. The role requires availability for all shifts: 1st Shift (7a-3p), 2nd Shift (3p-11p), and 3rd Shift (11p-7a). The Machine Operator Assistant will be responsible for counting and stacking finished product, reading factory orders, and accurately reading gauges and other test equipment. The role also involves utilizing basic shop math, inspecting products, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents. Additionally, the position includes clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap.
