Machine Operator Assistant
About The Position
Mactac is seeking candidates to become part of their manufacturing team. They manufacture pressure sensitive materials used in everyday products such as label printing, graphic design, packaging, displays, and medical device assembly. The Machine Operator Assistant position involves performing a variety of activities in the overall operation of a machine and assisting the operator. Primary responsibilities include constantly monitoring all phases of the operation, maintaining productivity and quality, and maximizing waste reduction efforts to ensure that continuous improvement goals are achieved or exceeded.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic computer system's hardware and software
- Manufacturing experience

Responsibilities
- Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices
- Assisting performing general set-up of multiple machines
- Load and unload material from machine
- Ensure that the machine is producing quality product
- Ensure proper materials and machine settings are used
- Ensure all paperwork and data entry is completed accurately
- Communicate within department on a daily basis on production runs
- Assist in monitoring deviations in materials and running conditions
- Adhere to all environmental, safety and housekeeping standards and regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
