About The Position

Responsible for assisting the Mechanic/Operator in operating the line to ensure consistent and daily maintenance of the line. This role involves assisting in staging and loading metal, reloading the carton maker, restocking the palletizer, and refilling the corrugated pad feeder. The position also requires ensuring line cleanliness, performing quality checks, and assisting the Mechanic/Operator with various tasks. The Machine Operator may also perform some Material Handler duties and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures. Additionally, the role requires operating other Fabrication equipment when the ASC line is not available, and training will be provided to drive a Forklift and operate powered and manual hand trucks. The operator will also use a computer terminal and other office equipment, read and understand production and quality control instructions, perform math calculations with decimals, and read scales and various types of calipers. Maintaining minimum certification requirements is also necessary.

Requirements

Must be able to operate other Fabrication equipment when ASC line is not available.
Will be trained to drive a Forklift- powered and manual hand trucks.
Will operate computer terminal and other office equipment.
Must be able to read and understand production instructions, quality control instructions, and perform math calculations using decimals.
Must read scales and various types of calipers.
Must maintain minimum Certification requirements.
