About The Position

Is capable of performing all functions of Operator “B” and can operate equipment which is of a more complicated nature. This would include operating multiple machine hookups and packing, presses with multiple and complex tooling, manual pull through operations, and servicing two or more production lines or machines.

Requirements

Position requires high school diploma or GED Certificate.
Approximately two (2) years' experience is necessary to develop skills, ability, and knowledge to perform proficiently.

Responsibilities

Is capable of operating multiple machine hookups and packing equipment with multiple and complex tooling, manual pull through operations, and servicing two or more production lines or machines.
Feeding strips by hand into a cutting press.
Checks machine product for quality.
Alerts setup or supervisory personnel when machine malfunctions.
Keeps departmental work areas, aisles, and storage areas safe, orderly, and free of obstructions.
Must properly store items so maximum use of area is accomplished.
Responsible for general housekeeping, inventories, and re-warehousing. This includes sweeping on a regular basis and mopping areas when needed/instructed.
Responsible for observing safety rules at all times.
Reports unsafe conditions immediately to their supervisor.
Reports any and all dropped/spilled loads.
Duties assigned by their supervisor.
