About The Position
BlueScope is seeking skilled and detail-oriented individuals to operate and maintain machines that shape materials into high-quality components. The company values safety, organization, and continuous improvement. The position is for the 3rd shift, with pay at $23.28/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. Hours are Sunday night-Friday morning 10pm-6am, with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities
- Operate machines to cut, punch, bend, weld, or shape materials into specified components.
- Prepare and set up machines, confirming specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
- Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts.
- Perform inspections before, during, and after production using measuring tools and processes to ensure materials meet exact specifications.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
- Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
