About The Position
The Boring Operator performs operational work related to setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery on a boring line. To operate proficiently, the individual must operate consistently at or above target production levels. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to perform simple math.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up equipment for production runs.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality.
- Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot downtime.
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform QC inspections.
- Complete production records and reports.
- Participates and contributes to company safety program.
- Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations such as LOTO and proper PPE.
- Perform routine cleaning.
- Be able to read a tape measure and perform simple math.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
