Boring Operator - performs operational work related to setting up, operating and maintaining machinery on a boring line. To operate proficiently, individual must operate consistently at or above target production levels. Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to perform simple math
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up equipment for production runs.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality.
- Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot downtime.
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform QC inspections.
- Complete production records and reports.
- Participates and contributes to company safety program
- Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations such as LOTO and proper PPE.
- Perform routine cleaning.
- Be able to read a tape measure and perform simple math.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
