About The Position
MKS Instruments is seeking an exceptional Machine Operator 1 to join the team. In this position, you partner with Manufacturing Operations to machine parts to specifications. In this role, you will report to the Manufacturing Specialist/Operations Supervisor.
Requirements
- Requires basic reading, writing and addition and subtraction skills
- Must be a student at Greater Lawrence Technical High School
Responsibilities
- Operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company’s product
- Working from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks
- Checking and inspecting operation against predetermined tolerances
