About The Position

The Machine Operator 1 is focused on working with the Entrances Department with set-up and operation of equipment. May operate different machines to ensure the equipment is working efficiently. This role reports to the Maintenance supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has decision making, continuous improvement and trust and reliability skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

• Experience using and reading a tape measure to the 16th's
• Experience reading and understanding fabrication drawings
• Experience using powered industrial tools
• Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions
• Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints
• Must be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned
• Communicate well with peers and management
• Must be able to work 1st shift, with periods of required overtime

Nice To Haves

• Former fabrication experience

Responsibilities

• General fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools
• Quality inspections
